Child bunny

This bunny is based off of the dress me bunny from amigurumi to go. It's smaller than the other bunnies I made, you can find the pattern for the girl here and the boy here

Materials:

  • A 1.5mm crochet hook 
  • Cotton thread weight yarn in white or whatever colour you want the bunny to be. The exact brand I used can be bought here
  • Cotton thread weight yarn in black, blue and green (or whatever colour you want the clothes to be)
  • A darning needle for sewing up
  • A small amount of black embroidery thread or black cotton thread weight yarn
  • golden embroidery thread
  • 3 small green buttons
  • Toy stuffing

For the body:

Make a magic loop with 6sc
Round 1: 2sc in each st (12sc)
Round 2: sc in teh first st, 2sc in the next st, rep  to end (18sc)
Round 3: sc in the first 2 sts, 2sc in the next st, rep to end. ch1, turn (24sc)
Round 4: sc in th e first 3 sts, 2sc in the next st, rep to end. ch1, turn (30sc)
Rounds 5 - 11: (7 rounds) sc in each st (30sc)
Round 12: sc in the first 3 sts, sc2tog, rep to end (24sc)
Round 13: sc in the first 2 sts, sc2tog, rep to end (18sc)
Round 14: sc in the first st, sc2tog, rep to end (12sc)
Round 15: sc in the first st, 2sc in the next st, rep to end (18sc)
Round 16: sc in the first 2 sts, 2sc in the next st (24sc)
Rounds 17 - 19: (3 rounds) sc in each st (24sc)
Round 20: sc in the first 3 sts, 2sc in the next st (30sc)
Round 21: sc in the first 9 sts, 2sc in the next st, rep to end (33sc)
Rounds 22 - 24: (3 rounds) sc in each row (33sc)
Round 25: sc in the first 9 sts, sc2tog, rep to end (30sc)
Round 26: sc in the first 3 sts, sc2tog, rep to end (24sc)
Round 27: sc in the first 2 sts, sc2tog, rep to end (18sc)
Round 28: sc in the first st, sc2tog, rep to end (12sc)
Round 29: sc2tog to end (6sc)
Fasten off


For the muzzle:

Make a magic loop with 6sc
Round 1: 2sc in each st (12sc)
Round 2: sc in each st (12sc)
Fasten off

For the tail:

Make a magic loop with 6sc
Round 1: 2sc in each st (12sc)
Round 2: sc in each st (12sc)
Round 3: sc in the first 4 sts, sc2tog, rep to end (10sc)
Fasten off

For the legs:

Make a magic ring with 6sc
Round 1: 2sc in each st (12sc)
Round 2: sc in the first st, 2sc in the next st, rep to  end (18sc)
Rounds 3 - 4: (2 rows) sc in each st (18sc)
Round 5: (sc in the first stitch, sc2tog) 3 times, sc in the last 9 sts (15sc)
Round 6: sc2tog 3 times, sc in the last 9 sts (12sc)
Round 7: sc in the first 5 sts, sc2tog, sc in the last 5 sts (11sc)
Rounds 8 - 13: (6 rows) sc in each st (11sc)

For the arms:

Make a magic loop with 6sc
Round 1: 2sc in each st (12sc)
Round 2: sc in each st (12sc)
Round 3: sc in the first st, sc2tog, rep to end (8sc)
Rounds 4 - 12: (9 rows) sc in each st (8sc)
Fasten off


For the ears:

Make a magic ring with 6sc
Round 1: 2sc in each st (12sc)
Round 2: sc in the first st, 2sc in the next st, rep to  end (18sc)
Rounds 3 - 4: (2 rows) sc in each st (18sc)
Round 5: sc in the first 4 sts, sc2tog, rep to end (15sc)
Rounds 6 - 7: (2 rows) sc in each st (15sc)
Round 8: sc in the first 3 sts, sc2tog, rep to end (12sc)
Rounds 9 - 10: (2 rows) sc in each st (12sc)
Round 11: sc in the first 2 sts, sc2tog, rep to end (9sc)
Rounds 12 - 13: (2 rows) sc in each st (9sc)
Fasten off

Sew the arms, legs, ears muzzle and tail onto the rabbit. Embroider a nose and eyes onto the rabbit.



For the jeans:
fsc 30
Round 1: sc in the first fsc stitch you made, then sc to the end of the round (30sc)
Rounds 2 - 7:(6 rounds) sc in each st (30sc)
Round 8: sc in the first 12 sts, sc2tog, sc in the next st, sc2tog, sc in the last 13 sts (28sc)
Round 9: sc in the first 12 sts, sc3tog, sc in the last 13 sts (26sc)
Round 10: sc in the first 10 sts, ch6 , sc in the 13th st from the base of chain, sc in the last 2 sts. (19sc)
Rounds 11 - 18: (8 rounds) sc in each st (19sc)
Fasten off
Attach the yarn to the stitch on round 9 where you made ch6.

Round 10: sc in the next   sts up to the point where you attached the ch sts ch6, sc into the first st of the round (20sc)
Rounds 11 - 18: (8 rounds) sc in each st (20sc)
Fasten off

Sew the top of the trousers together.

For the belt loop (make 5):
ch4
Fasten off

Sew the loops at equal intervals around the top edge of the jeans

For the belt:
fsc39
Fasten off

For the buckle:
using golden embroidery floss tightly ch10
fasten off and sew the ends together.

Sew one side of the buckle to the belt and weave the embroidery thread through the rest of the buckle to strengthen it.

For the shirt:
fsc 26. ch1, turn
Rows 1 - 3: (3 rows) sc to end. ch1, turn (26sc)
Row 4: sc in the first 12 sts, sc2tog, sc in the lst 12 sts. ch1, turn (25sts)
Rows 5 - 8: (4 rows) sc in each st. ch1, turn
Row 9: sc in each st. turn
Row 10: slip the first 4 sts, ch5, sc in the 6th st from hook, sc in the next 6 sts, ch5, ss into the 6th st from hook, slip the last 3 sts.
Fasten off

Attach the yarn to the bottom of the left side of the shirt, and sc11 sts up the edge. turn
Row 1: slip the first st, sc in the last 10 sts to end. ch1, turn
Row 2: sc in the first 10 sts. turn
Row 3: slip the first st, sc in the last 9 sts to end
Fasten off

Attach the yarn to the top of the right side of the shirt and sc 11 sts down. ch1, turn
Row 1: sc in the first st, slip the next 2 sts, sc in the next st, slip the next 2 sts, sc in the next st, slip the next 2 sts, sc in the next st, slip the last st. turn
Row 2: skip the first st, sc in the next st, ch2, skip the next 2 ch sts, sc in the next st, ch2, skip the next 2 ch sts, sc in the next st, ch2, skip the next 2 ch sts, sc in the lest st. ch1, turn
Row 3: sc in the first st, 2sc in the next ch space, sc in the next st, 2sc in the next ch space, sc in the next st, 2sc in the next ch space, slip the next st.
Fasten off

For the collar:
sc29 across the top of the shirt. ch1, turn
Row 1: sc in the back loop of each st. ch1, turn
Row 2: sc in each st
Fasten off


For the sleeves (make 2):
sc 12 sts around the edge of one sleeve
Rows 1 - 7: (7 rows) sc in each st around 7 rows

Fasten off
